LOC Consulting, the proven specialist in successful project healthchecks, recovery and delivery, has announced the appointment of Garth Impey, who is joining the firm as a Board Director. Garth will be supporting the ongoing growth at LOC Consulting and helping the business to expand into new sectors.

Garth specialises in the delivery of business change through process and organisation design, as well as the deployment of business-enabling technology. His career as a management consultant spans 25 years during which time he has led teams of up to 600 people and managed business units generating annual revenues of more than $800m.

“LOC Consulting has established a reputation for providing exceptional project healthcheck, recovery and delivery and I am delighted to be joining its Board of Directors,” said Garth. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of growing the company’s client reach whilst ensuring it remains committed to its focus on quality service, client-side delivery capability and successful outcomes.”

Garth has played a key role in managing and developing supply chain strategies and customer-facing processes for numerous blue chip clients across a wide range of sectors – including financial services, oil and energy, construction, mining, healthcare, transportation, consumer products and manufacturing. His specialist areas are the implementation of Shared Service Centres and SAP application software.

“Garth previously worked as an Associate for LOC Consulting and has always impressed clients with his gravitas, experience and capability,” said Peter Osborne, Managing Director, LOC Consulting. “He brings a detailed knowledge of SAP delivery and logistics and will offer us additional avenues to grow as we continue with our transition to a medium-sized consultancy that is in an excellent position to compete with the larger players.”
